Teacher Proven RISE

Rural Immersion Series for Educators

Over the coming months, Teacher Proven is developing a Rural Immersion Series for Educators designed to address a critical gap in how educators explore, understand, and commit to rural and remote education.

What are these immersions designed to offer?

Each immersion is intentionally designed to:

  • Provide a realistic look at rural and regional teaching environments from an educator's perspective
  • Center place-based cultural learning through respectful community partnership
  • Strengthen connection among rural educators across regions and systems
  • Create space for reflection on professional direction, readiness, and fit

For some participants, an immersion may help clarify whether a rural or remote teaching role is the right next step. For others, it offers deeper perspective, connection, and professional community within rural education.
